Lovely Leaflets, May 2010

Lightwork Productions is the creative wing of Lightwork. Its mission is to put core spiritual information out into the world using any vehicle that looks appropriate. Whether a book, a video or even a leaflet, the intention is to share information with wholeness and integrity.

Image
Here is a leaflet to share information about the Lightwork practice, classes and services. It was created with much consciousness and love.

Image
The image on the front is a gold embossed stamp. The gold represents the gold energy so prevalent in the Lightwork practice. Darsi K had a lot of fun getting the stamp made and finding the materials to create these leaflets!

Here's Lynn at Banyan Books holding a card with info about an upcoming Level 1 meditation class. She can give the card to somebody who may want to take the class.

These leaflets are a lovely way to share information about upcoming classes, and ongoing services at Lightwork.

Spiritually Senior Relaxation April 2010

During the first part of April, Lightwork has a break from classes. There are still a lot of ways to tune into Lightwork during this time. One way is reading the book, The Journey is the Goal.

Image
Looks like Julia T is relaxing while reading. It can be reassuring for the body to see spiritual information in print.

Image
Learning to relax while staying present is a skill to be honed. This book is designed to support you as Spirit, and can assist in the process of staying spiritually senior while reading.

Another fun way to tune into Lightwork is by looking at the website. Julia has found the archive of productions blogs, and is enjoying a self guided retrospective.

Interview with Jeanine about Lightwork Life

Lightwork Life is a series which chronicles life at the Lightwork Ecovillage. Jeanine shot and edited the videos, with the guidance of Scott.  Here is an interview so we can find out more about Jeanine's process...

Image

What did you learn by doing Lightwork Life?

Jeanine: I learned a lot doing Lightwork Life.  Scott has a lot of experience working with video, and over the course of production I picked up many tips and tricks from him.  Most of my learning was in camera angles, what looks good and what - out of context - looks odd.   Working with being behind the camera, I had to learn how to step away from tasks so that I could catch them for the video.

What was your inspiration for this project?

Jeanine: I love shooting and editing video, and at the start of this project I was in the process of looking for a mentor to help me learn more about it.  Scott and Krista came to me with an idea to start doing a mini-documentary of the ecovillage and I jumped right on board! I guess my main inspiration is just love of the ecovillage, and of this particular technique of getting the word out there about what we do.

What kind of feedback have you received from viewers?

Jeanine: I think people like it.  It's a new way of feeling connected, if you miss a work party or don't go to the ecovillage on a weekly basis, the video footage is loads of fun.  It's also a way for us to remember all of the struggles we've ended up working through with ease, and the really great "ah-ha" moments we've had.  It's easy to keep looking forward to our dream, but it's also a great practice to step back and notice all the work we've done so far.

Any final thoughts?

Jeanine: Yes to the continued evolution of the ecovillage! I'm constantly excited by the passion the stewards have, and the dream.
