Behind The Scenes - Decorating for the Winter Light Week

The Winter Light Week was a fun creative outlet.  We had three main rooms to decorate, and we just went for it!  The crew reveled in the creative process.

The first vision for our downstairs room included tables. It was a little squishy, but we managed to fit all the chairs!

We decided it wasn't spacious enough with all those tables and chairs.

The next vision saw the couch moving to close off the kitchen and then we would create a golden tent for the eating area.

This vision included a table for food once prepared.

Upstairs in the Light Room, the decorations were more green.

Ceder is loved by the Lightwork Productions decoration team, and you could find lots of it throughout the house during the Winter Light Week.

The sanctuary got some decorative loving too.

Gold Upon Thee

The latest addition to the Lightwork product line is an essential oil blend.

Image
'Gold Upon Thee' is the name of the blend, meant for use in diffusers, in the bath or as a personal fragrance.

Each one is uniquely crafted.

Behind the scenes?

This year the Lightwork Summer Retreat took a different form, and was re-named the 9 Day Dharma Healing. The new format supported participants in doing more tasks that had previously been done "behind the scenes." Tasks like cooking and cleaning were shared amongst all the participants, which created a deep sense of community and satisfaction.
