The Annual Winter Sacred Space is a much anticipated event. A Lightwork crew spends hours planning and rehearsing. Creating a sacred space on the planet is healing and inspiring. This blog starts out with some behind the scenes set up shots. This is one crew installing the custom made projection screen.

Lots of technical gear was needed to project images, and amplify sound scapes, backing tracks, and electronic instruments.

Practicing one of the Lightwork Band's sing-alongs. Repeated sung affirmations are a powerful healing. The sacred space sing-alongs were written to enable the singer to touch into this healing power.

The circle represents the completeness of community; the cycle of life. The circle is a vessel designed to hold the sacred space energy.

The first section of the LMM sequence covers centering, grounding, personal space and letting go, which are all key pieces on the spiritual journey.

This sacred performance is entitled 'Sign Language Dance'. The dancer (Julia W) grooves to her own beat, within this piece there are symbolic hand signs of Love, Awareness, Peace and Freedom.

'The Beat Rejuvenates' features Scott on djembe and dancers expressing amusement. For centuries humans have used the drum and the dance as a way to inspire and rejuvenate the journeyer.

Lyle, Scott and Julia T. drumming in 'The Beat Across Time'. The drum beat represents the heartbeat and is present through every step of the journey from birth to death. It is one of the constants through the hills and the valleys. At the beginning of this piece Scott dances with a shadow version of himself filmed 20 years ago. This flows into the passion, fire and celebration of the beat in this moment.

'Fire Journey' - Life is a spiritual journey, and the journey itself is the goal. In this piece, the journeyer goes through many phases, meeting others along the way, some with the intent to harm, others with the intent to heal. The journeyer grows more light and powerful as she walks her path.

At the end of the Fire Journey the Journeyer appears from behind the screen carrying the sacred light (the candle). This light is past from person to person around the circle illuminating each candle. It completes with all participants holding their candle, their light, and chanting words of transcendence.
