Fragile and far away
I heard the nuns sing
A lifetime married to faith
Inside you church bells ring
Your bright eyes find the light
As you show off your divine deeds
The woman inside the nun
Only plants holy seeds
Killed by greed, turned to hate
A monument to the slain ones
The church did not protect them
Killed were children, priests, and nuns
Today you stand tall and proud
Like the ones who came before you
You say you know right from wrong
Your life is just and true
Flowers for God
Grown with love and care
Deep down inside
What pain do you bear?
